Nathan Rickenbrode posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
