Basketball Recap: Dickson Comes Up Short

Dickson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Ada Cougars and fell 61-22. The Comets lost against the Cougars in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 50-46 score last time.

Dickson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ada, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dickson will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crooked Oak at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Ada and Plainview will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
