McMinn Central won against Roane County last Tuesday with one run and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Chargers didn't even let the Yellowjackets on the board, marking the Chargers' second-straight 1-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on three straight.

McMinn Central's record now sits at 14-8. As for Roane County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-6-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McMinn Central will head out to challenge Red Bank at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Roane County, they will venture away from home to square off against Oliver Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Yellowjackets surely won't give up without a fight.
