Softball Preview: Sherwood Bowmen vs. Nelson
The Sherwood Bowmen will head out on the road to square off against Nelson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Nelson will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Sherwood extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday. The Bowmen blew past Forest Grove 8-1.
The team relied heavily on Maisy Schindler, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Daisha Cornwell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Nelson made easy work of Reynolds on Monday and carried off a 17-4 win. The victory continues a trend for Nelson in their matchups with Reynolds: they've now won eight in a row.
