Basketball Recap: East Falls Short Against Ranked Thunder Basin

On Friday, East faced Thunder Basin in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The East Thunderbirds took a 70-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunder Basin Bolts. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (58), the Thunderbirds still had to take the loss.

East has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Thunder Basin, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

East will face off against South at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Thunder Basin has already played their next contest (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
