Softball Recap: Newport Wildcats vs. Dayton Greendevils

Newport extended their losing streak to nine on Friday, dropping their season record down to 0-9 in the process. They lost 22-5 to the Dayton Greendevils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 17-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
