Basketball Recap: Bloomfield's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Monday

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bloomfield had no problem doing just that on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-45 victory over the Kennedy Eagles. Given the Warhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Eagles are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bloomfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-5 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Kennedy and nudges their season record down to 6-13.

Coming up, Bloomfield will host East Hartford at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
