Baseball Recap: St. Cloud Cathedral Comes Up Short

If St. Cloud Cathedral was feeling good fresh off their 9-2 takedown of Milaca on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders fell just short of the Holy Family Catholic Fire by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

St. Cloud Cathedral saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Primus, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

St. Cloud Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Holy Family Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Looking ahead, St. Cloud Cathedral will take on Melrose at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Holy Family Catholic, they will face off against Minnehaha Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
