Recap: Davis Blue Devils vs. Jesuit Marauders
The Davis Blue Devils''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 37-14 walloping at the hands of Jesuit. Davis was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.
It was another big night for CJ Lee, who threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Dixon, who picked up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Davis' defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 6-4 Elk Grove (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 63.3% over those games). As for Jesuit, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Davis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jesuit also has no future games currently scheduled.
