Pinecrest waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Overhills Jaguars 41-14. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0.

Chris Najm was his usual excellent self, rushing for 43 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Pinecrest proved: they limited Overhills to a paltry 0.4 yards per carry. The Patriots' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.68 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.43 on average over their last five games.

Pinecrest's record is now 6-1. As for Overhills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
