St. Joseph's Catholic faced Daniel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Knights who were credited with the win. Their victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Jonny Bunecke, who's now up to six this season.

St. Joseph's Catholic pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Daniel, they moved to 9-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph's Catholic will take on Hammond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Daniel, they will challenge Blue Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
