Softball Recap: Manawa's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Berlin on Friday, Manawa came back down to earth. The Wolves fell just short of the Stanley-Boyd Orioles by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Wolves' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Manawa fell to 2-1. As for Stanley-Boyd, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Manawa and Stanley-Boyd will both be playing Palmyra-Eagle the next time they take the field. The Wolves will head out to face the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Orioles will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
