Softball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Caldwell

Caldwell won the last time they faced River and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Redskins never let the Pilots get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering the Redskins have won three games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cecelia Marshall was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one triple. Sophia Marshall was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Caldwell's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average this season. As for River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
