Softball Recap: United Comes Up Short

United fell victim to West Shamokin and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 15-0. The Lions have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

United's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for West Shamokin, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

United will square off against Ferndale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Shamokin, they will face off against Cambria Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
