Softball Recap: Cajun Christian Athletics Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cajun Christian Athletics, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 15-11 victory over the Acadiana Christian Defenders on Tuesday.

Cajun Christian Athletics got a massive performance out of Bethany Hill, who scored a run and stole eight bases while going 2-for-3. Hill is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's stole at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Lydia Tullos, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Cajun Christian Athletics always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .543 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Cajun Christian Athletics now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Acadiana Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cajun Christian Athletics will square off against Legacy Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on March 6th. As for Acadiana Christian, they will challenge Psalms Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 6th.
