Softball Recap: Monroe Victorious

Monroe won the last time they faced Cedar Park Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Bearcats came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 6-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bearcats.

Sophia Jeske was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2025. Vivian Knuckey was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

The win got Monroe back to even at 5-5. As for Cedar Park Christian, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Monroe will venture away from home to square off against Snohomish at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Cedar Park Christian, they will challenge Seton Catholic/King's Way Christian at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
