Softball Recap: Dunmore Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Dunmore extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 12-5. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Old Forge Blue Devils. This was a revenge game for the Bucks: when they faced off against the Blue Devils back in April, they had to take a 10-3 loss.

Aubrey Mizenko was a standout: she went 3-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Walsh, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Dunmore kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.

As for Old Forge, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. Blue Devils fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Dunmore since Thursday.

On Old Forge's side, Ava Arnold stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Lilianna Lenceski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
