Baseball Recap: Eastern Mennonite Comes Up Short

Eastern Mennonite fell victim to Carlisle and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 9-0 to the Carlisle Chiefs. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Flames' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eastern Mennonite now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Carlisle, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Mennonite will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Cross at 5:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Carlisle, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on The Covenant at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
