Volleyball Game Preview: East Troy Trojans vs. Delavan-Darien Comets

East Troy and Delavan-Darien are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Trojans will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Comets at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, East Troy turned things around against St. Mary's Springs on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ledgers.

Meanwhile, Delavan-Darien got the win against Whitewater on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Whippets: they've now won five in a row.

While Delavan-Darien won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-10.

Delavan-Darien's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for East Troy, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.
