Basketball Game Preview: Lakeview Bulldogs vs. Struthers Wildcats

Lakeview is 2-8 against Struthers since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Lakeview Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Struthers Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. Lakeview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Lakeview easily dispatched Poland Seminary on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Lakeview fell just short of Girard by a score of 59-56 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since January 13th.

Meanwhile, Struthers came up short against McKinley on Monday and fell 47-38.

Lakeview's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8. As for Struthers, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
