Chalker moved up to 589 from 620 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northeastern Athletic. The Wildcats climbed the ranks as a result of besting Open Door Christian 34-0.
Pymatuning Valley lost to Edgewood 55-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Quintin Ratliff ran for 157 yards in the defeat.
Dillon Nezbith was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 186 yards on 17 carries as Chalker beat the Patriots. Teammate Brendon Baugher added to the ground attack by rushing for 65 yards.
Mazzola was the best wideout in the league this week as Ryan Slone's team defeated Open Door Christian.
Nezbith was a passing and rushing force as the Wildcats beat Ray Lowe's team.
5-foot-10 quarterback Austin Casper of Chalker is the league leader in passing yards this season with 353. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nick Holt. The Pymatuning Valley star has 9 catches for 168 yards.
The Wildcats led Northeastern Athletic in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on the Patriots. Nezbith in the win.
