Lamar County was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They put the hurt on the Towers Titans with a sharp 6-1 victory. Lamar County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by five goals or more this season.

They hit Towers with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Bushby (2), Harmony Flewellen (2), Scout Woodall, and Makaiya Howard.

Lamar County pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Towers, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lamar County will head out to face off against Social Circle at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Social Circle will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Lamar County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Towers, they will face off against Jasper County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Towers is facing Jasper County at the right time seeing as Jasper County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
