Basketball Game Preview: Berwick Bulldogs vs. Wyoming Area Warriors

Berwick and Wyoming Area are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Berwick Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Wyoming Area Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Berwick comes in on seven and Wyoming Area on five.

Last Thursday, Berwick didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Holy Redeemer, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win.

Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Wyoming Area ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against Wyoming Seminary College Prep by a score of 76-67. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Blue Knights are ranked 664th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wyoming Area's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Berwick, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
