Basketball Recap: Hanks Takes a Loss

Hanks lost against Eastlake back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hanks Knights took a 53-39 bruising from the Eastlake Falcons. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastlake found their leader in sophomore Tristan Anderson-Edmond, who went 10 for 14 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds. With that strong performance, Anderson-Edmond is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Braeden Quigley was another key player, putting up 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Hanks' loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Eastlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Hanks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-31 defeat against Centennial on the 27th. As for Eastlake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-55 loss against Midland Legacy on the 27th.
