Soccer Recap: Loveland Takes a Loss

Loveland entered their match against Turpin on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. Loveland fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Turpin since Saturday.

Loveland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2-1. As for Turpin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1-3.

Coming up, Loveland will head out on the road to square off against Winton Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Turpin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Hills' last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
