On Tuesday, Christ the King came up short against Walther Christian Academy and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Woodlands Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Round Lake on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Woodlands Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

Christ the King's loss dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Woodlands Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-19.
