Baseball Recap: Plainedge Red Devils vs. Malverne Mules

Plainedge won the last time they faced Malverne and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Red Devils blew past the Mules 17-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Taylor Nitsch made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Nitsch was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

In other pitching news, Matt Sharon looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, Bobby Wescott was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Brady Henderson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
