Basketball Game Preview: Stanton County Trojans vs. Elkhart Wildcats

The Stanton County Trojans will take on the Elkhart Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Friday, Stanton County came up short against Syracuse and fell 42-29.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 50-14, which was the final score in Elkhart's tilt against Lakin on Tuesday. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Elkhart's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Stanton County, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-7.
