Softball Recap: Indian Hills Braves vs. Westwood Cardinals
While Indian Hills's win against Westwood wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Braves skirted past the Cardinals 4-2. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Audrey Amoruso made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Amoruso wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Amanda Lauler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Kayla Curtin also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Indian Hills pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
