Volleyball Recap: Appleton City Takes a Loss

Appleton City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Archie Whirlwinds. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Whirlwinds when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-12.

Appleton City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Archie, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Appleton City will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Midway at 6:30 p.m. As for Archie, they will head out to face off against Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
