Softball Recap: Ansonia Comes Up Short

Ansonia fell victim to Wolcott and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Ansonia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Wolcott, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
