Football Recap: Ridgeland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

There was early excitement for Ridgeland after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was LaFayette who ended up claiming the real prize. The Panthers fell just short of the Ramblers by a score of 16-13. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Kaiden Williams threw for 96 yards on seven of 14 attempts. Cornell Watkins was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards. On the ground, Tabrone Ball rushed for 106 yards and one TD.

Ridgeland has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for LaFayette, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Ridgeland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 49-0 defeat against Calhoun on the 3rd. As for LaFayette, they have also already played their next game, a 40-7 loss against Northwest Whitfield on the 3rd.
