Volleyball Recap: Holliston's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Holliston can now relate to. They fell just short of the Ashland Clockers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Clockers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Holliston sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 21-25, 25-20, 14-25, 15-5.

Ashland found their leader in sophomore Rose Berliner, who had ten digs and one assist.

With the loss, Holliston broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-8. As for Ashland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

As of now, neither Holliston nor the Clockers have any future games scheduled.
