Preview: Hulett Devils vs. Harding County Ranchers
The Hulett Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Harding County Ranchers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hulett is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Hulett can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They breezed by Midwest at home to the tune of 64-33.
Meanwhile, Harding County suffered a rough 72-51 defeat at the hands of Hettinger/Scranton on Friday. Harding County was down 55-35 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Harding County's defeat came about despite a quality game from Nayati Bickerdyke, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bickerdyke has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cohen Smith, who scored seven points.
Hulett is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Harding County, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Hulett was taken down by Harding County 67-35 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Can Hulett avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
