Baseball Recap: DuPont Takes a Loss

DuPont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Odyssey Charter Owls, falling 19-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-4 back in April.

Julius Ramos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Michael Barron, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

DuPont's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Odyssey Charter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Owls beat DuPont by a score of 19-7 on Friday.
