Soccer Game Preview: Huntingdon vs. Belleville Mennonite

The Huntingdon Bearcats will head out on the road to challenge the Belleville Mennonite Thunder at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Huntingdon's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Wednesday, Huntingdon didn't have quite enough to beat Tyrone and fell 2-1.

Belleville Mennonite played against Juniata Christian on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Huntingdon's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Belleville Mennonite, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 8-7.

Huntingdon took their victory against Belleville Mennonite when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 5-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
