Basketball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern lost against Osborn back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Northwestern Colts took a blow against the Osborn Knights, falling 65-7. The match marked the Colts' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Northwestern and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Osborn, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Northwestern and Osborn's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Northwestern and Detroit Leadership Academy (who has only given up 14.33 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Osborn will face off against Western International at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, a team that's only allowed 18.17 points per game.
