Volleyball Recap: Platte County Victorious

Platte County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Lincoln High Links by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Links, too.

Malin Cole paced Platte County's offense, picking up seven kills. Cole got some help from Ella Cruce and her 13 assists.

Lincoln High is on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Platte County and Lincoln High will both be playing Lincoln Southeast the next time they take the court. The Links will host the Knights at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
