Soccer Game Preview: Trinity vs. Palestine

Trinity is 0-9 against Palestine since February of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will look to defend their home pitch against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Trinity didn't have quite enough to beat Diboll and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Palestine hasn't lost a match since January 8th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Neither they nor Madisonville could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Palestine's first draw of the season.

They hit Madisonville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rolondo Gallegos, Nathan Gonzales, and Eduardo Farias.

Palestine's draw makes their record 15-3-1 this season. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Trinity might still be hurting after the 14-1 defeat they got from Palestine when the teams last played back in January. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 12-1.
