After a string of four wins, Linton-Stockton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 55-31 to the Warren Central Warriors. If the Miners were looking for revenge after losing 50-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Denell Jacobs continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Warren Central, going 11 of 14 on her way to 30 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Jacobs a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of La'Starr Williams, who posted ten points.

Linton-Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Warren Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Linton-Stockton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren Central, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
