Basketball Recap: Calvary Academy Comes Up Short

Calvary Academy came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 62-22 loss at the hands of Nazarene Christian Academy. Having soared to a lofty 61 points in the game before, Calvary Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Calvary Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, their record now sits at 6-7.

Calvary Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wylie Prep Academy at 2:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-17 victory against Harvest Christian Academy on the 13th.
