Basketball Recap: Muir Takes a Loss

Muir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the San Marino Titans and fell 70-42. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 950th, while the Titans are ranked 223rd).

Muir's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for San Marino, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Muir will be home for the holidays to greet Bassett at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Marino will take on Cathedral in a holiday battle at at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.
