Volleyball Game Preview: Argenta-Oreana Bombers vs. Maroa-Forsyth Trojans

Argenta-Oreana hasn't had much luck against Maroa-Forsyth recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bombers will be playing at home against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Argenta-Oreana comes in on four and Maroa-Forsyth on 11.

On Thursday, Argenta-Oreana was able to grind out a solid victory over Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh, taking the game 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Maroa-Forsyth earned a 2-0 win over Riverton on Thursday.

Maroa-Forsyth easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19.

Maroa-Forsyth's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Argenta-Oreana, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Argenta-Oreana has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 4.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Maroa-Forsyth struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
