Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that John Paul II blew Bridges Prep out of the water with a 62-26 final score. The Golden Warrriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 36 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John Paul II to victory, but perhaps none more so than Savannah Trott, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Majorkiewicz, who put up six points and six steals.

John Paul II was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Meanwhile, May River came up short against Hilton Head Christian Academy on Monday and fell 44-37. The contest marked the Sharks 's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

John Paul II pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for May River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

John Paul II was able to grind out a solid win over May River in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 48-41. Will John Paul II repeat their success, or does May River have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
