New Hope won the last time they faced Elkmont and things went their way on Friday too. The Indians walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Red Devils.

Krimson Clark tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, Ella Baswell was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Calli Tidwell was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs.

New Hope was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

New Hope's win bumped their record up to 9-13-1. As for Elkmont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
