Southlake Carroll had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Plano West Wolves on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Dragons sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Southlake Carroll not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Plano West between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-19.

Collins Alonzo was the offensive standout of the match as she had 15 digs and two assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 15 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariel Elizondo, who had 15 assists.

Southlake Carroll's win bumped their record up to 32-5. As for Plano West, their loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 28-6.

Southlake Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Flower Mound on the 11th. Plano West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
