Mechanicsburg extends road losing streak to eight

The Mechanicsburg Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 63-37 loss at the hands of Cedarville. Mechanicsburg has struggled against Cedarville recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Mechanicsburg still got an impressive performance from Keegan Freeze, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Freeze continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lane Poland, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.

Mechanicsburg bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Cedarville, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Mechanicsburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Catholic Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedarville, they will head out on the road to square off against Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northeastern will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 687th, while Cedarville is ranked 300th).
