Soccer Recap: Midland Valley Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Midland Valley was not quite Saluda's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Saluda Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Midland Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Saluda, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Midland Valley will be playing at home against Gray Collegiate Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Gray Collegiate Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Midland Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Saluda, they will head out on the road to square off against Newberry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
