Beavers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Elks since Monday.

Meanwhile, Springfield lost 8-1 to Fairmont on Monday.

Springfield has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Beavercreek, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
