Basketball Recap: Carrier Mills-Stonefort Takes a Loss

Carrier Mills-Stonefort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gallatin County Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-39 two weeks ago.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Gallatin County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-14.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort will challenge Thompsonville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gallatin County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Galatia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
